Games Changing The World

Our Mission

All-Access Games sees the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change: support, empowerment, and progress in the alleviation of isolation for those suffering from poor mental health or other isolating factors which do long-term harm.

We want to harness the power of Games to build communities around a shared interest and common experience to break down anxiety and other isolating factors; building communities around a hobby that people love, allowing them to reach others and building bridges through common shared experiences and lives.

We are a small non=profit currently below the Charity Commission’s income threshold for registration.

However, we expect to reach the threshold in September 2024, and are therefore preparing our application to become an association CIO in Autumn/Winter ‘24.

The Origin Story

Started in January 2020 we initially worked with Mansions of the Future to provide a peer-led group which met fortnightly.

Moving On

With 2020 being a difficult year, when the relationship with this fantastic organisation ended All-Access Games forged links with a local business and the local Unitarian Church. This has led the group to provide games from staples such as Settlers of Catan, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride and a selection of easy to pick-up-and-play card games to more complex games such as Warhammer and Warmachine .

Unlike other groups, All-Access Games seeks to provide as much of the gaming materials as possible, with those using the service only having to attend the meeting to play. All-Access Games continues to provide a semi-structured way for people with Mental Health and Social Anxiety issues to meet and socialise.

Today (2024)

Now in 2024 All Access Games running several groups weekly at various locations around Lincoln and fortnightly in Ruskington, making significant strides to secure its future. We believe in urgent action to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing those isolated by Mental Health. Social Isolation is a killer and has been recognised by the WHO as a risk to early death as big as smoking. Please join us by supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in the lives of others.

The Future

Ultimately, we want to provide support to any community we can benefit, so we are hoping to expand throughout Lincolnshire, to Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and beyond. If you would like to an All-Access Games group in your area, please contact us, so we can continue to defeat social isolation, one game at a time.
